Kanora is a personal project in active development. There is no release date, price, or chosen distribution route yet, but I can share selected builds when the work reaches a useful point for someone's setup.

I build Kanora in the time available around work and family. Testing will be deliberately small, focused on people who are comfortable with unfinished software and can tell me what worked, what failed, and what felt confusing.

What private testing means

◆Builds are shared individually when the current work needs that kind of testing.
◆Features, library formats, and interface details may change while the foundations settle.
◆There is no public beta schedule, release date, price, or chosen distribution route.
◆The Mac app hosts the library, so testing usually involves a Mac and at least one Apple client device.
◆Access depends on what needs testing and whether your music library or hardware is a useful fit.

III · Why I'm Building It

A personal project, taken seriously.

Kanora began with the music library I wanted and a question about how far one developer could take an idea with current AI tooling. Over roughly eight months it has grown into this website, a support desk, the private dashboard I work from, a family of Apple apps, and a Raspberry Pi web kiosk.

That breadth still needs patient testing. Kanora is also a portfolio piece and an ongoing experiment in building ambitious software in limited time, so a few useful conversations make more sense than putting a price and a date on work that is not ready for either.

Can I try Kanora now?

Possibly, when there is something useful to test. I can share selected builds with a small number of people, and access will stay gradual rather than opening on a particular date.

What should I include when I get in touch?

Tell me which Apple devices you use, roughly what your music collection looks like, and any older audio hardware you would especially like to try with Kanora.

What will Kanora cost?

I have not decided. The pricing model is still open, and private testing is not a promise about a future price or release.

Will it come through the App Store?

The distribution route is also undecided. I am still considering the App Store alongside a notarized direct Mac build, and I do not want this page to imply that choice has been made.
