Short version: the app doesn’t track you. The website counts visits with Google Analytics, but only if you accept.

The Kanora app doesn’t collect personal data or track your listening habits.
This Website
This website uses Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, where visitors came from, and their broad country, browser and device type. It only runs if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Until then no analytics code loads, no cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies so it can tell one visit from another. Google signals, ad personalisation and ad storage are switched off, and nothing is linked to Google Ads or BigQuery. Google deletes the detailed visit data after two months. The data is processed by Google and isn’t guaranteed to stay in the EU.
You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; declining after accepting deletes the analytics cookies. I moved from Plausible to Google Analytics in September 2026 to stop paying a monthly subscription.
No Accounts
Kanora doesn’t require an account. There’s no sign-up process, no email collection, and no user profiles. Just install it and enjoy your own music.
Your Music
Your music files stay on your devices. They’re never uploaded to my servers (I don’t run any for Kanora). Your library is yours, and it stays that way.
Changes to This Policy
If I ever change this privacy policy, I’ll update this page.
